The flight to Dublin was awesome. How often to you get to sit for 11 hours with the latest 20 movies on demand and a free snack bar. It was awesome to unwind. Matt Buckland (MG) was on the same flight so we got to have a fat chat too – which was cool as always.

So a 60 Euro (R600) taxi ride to the base camp later and …….

The hotel (CityWest) , a premium golf estate on the outskirts of Dublin is a pinnacle of opulence. I mean a Rolls Royce Phantom parked outside, a Hummer limo, helicopters for the wealthy to fly in for a spot of golf and my best had to be a Hummer Golf cart. Amazing!

I also just bumped into Colin Daniels from The Times”- so it looks like South Africa is going to have good representation.

This IFRA Conference is going to rock.

Hey hey. Very excited. Jetting off to Dublin tomorrow for the 15th World Digital Publishing Conference
8 - 9 November 2007. It’s called Beyond the Printed Word and last year had over 400 delegates from many countries. It’s marketed as the biggest annual event for Digital Newspaper publishers. And I’m chairing it - LOL - EEK.
