Mormons bid for Facebook - bizarre
It’s all over the web since yesterday but really - the Mormons making a bid for Facebook?
Maybe this is the business model Facebook has been waiting for : ) - but really, It may not be that far-fetched.
The Mormons certainly have the cash and they dominate Genealogy globally in a major way. We have Ancestry24.com in the 24.com stable and we can hardly have a conversation without the Mormons coming up. They are all over the world gathering up records of births, deaths and everything to do with the topic.
Well - strategically it would be an exclusionary strategy to an extent - but a quirky story for the web-o-sphere none-the-less : )
